Works great with Blue Yeti September 2, 2010 Peter Witham I got this to hold my Blue Yeti microphone and it works great, my only concern is how long it will last. The build quality is OK and right for the price but it would not last very long in heavy use I think ( I use it to hold the microphone for creating screen casts/podcasts so not exactly heavy abuse ).
Very nice August 28, 2010 Patti M. Sheaffer (Los Angeles) Nice but inexpensive. I like the three legs so it's stable but not a big 'footprint'
Good stand for the money August 16, 2010 Jeffrey Martin (Nashville, TN) I have another OnStage stand that I love, so I couldn't resist this at $19.99. It's half the price of what I paid for the other one, but it's about half as useful. The stand works fine, with the exception of locking the swiveling of the boom arm. Everything else locks into place, but no matter how tight I make the swivel, the slightest bit of pressure breaks it free and makes the arm go swinging. I definitely can't see using this as a vocal mic stand if you were playing an instrument. I use it strictly for micing cabinets for recording. I wouldn't trust it in a live situation. For $20, it's a nice versatile studio stand.
tripod mic stand 7701B July 20, 2010 R Wilkinson (New Cumberland, Pa. United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I play in a three piece acoustic band and have used much more expensive mic stands in the past and have found them to perform no better than this stand. I like how effortlessly you can loosen or tighten the boom on this stand. The stand is a bit light but if you pay attention to how you set it up you should have no problem using it. I bought one and based on how well it worked purchased two more.

Works Great .&. Didn't Cost Much! July 11, 2010 Tonefish (Albuquerque) Just what I needed to hold a little portable PA monitor. Inexpensive and worked great for a week-long summer-camp gig. Seems like it will last for the long haul too! I'm happy with it!
