 Great For A Beginner...Like Me! July 16, 2010

I love music and have always wanted to be able to play an instrument. I have a guitar that I was never proficient in playing and it sits quietly in the closet, so I bought this ukulele on an impulse. I was amazed at how quickly I was able to teach myself a number of basic chords and learn a few well known songs, both old and current. This ukulele has a great sound at an even better price. The strings did go out of tune fairly often early on, but the more I've played, the better the strings have stayed in tune. I would strongly recommend getting a tuner with the purchase of the instrument. My teenage daughter was kind of indifferent at first when I mentioned that I was getting one, but once she picked it up she couldn't put it down...Now I'm going to get one for her. If you want to learn to play an instrument, try a ukulele first. If you want to learn on one that has a good sound and is affordable, buy this one!

I was immediately pleased with this ukulele. While playing, it feels very sturdy and well made. It has an authentic sound, and nothing about it seems cheap. It obviously isn't a top of the line ukulele, but for the money, you really can't beat it. I did a lot of research before buying, and most people seemed to rate this product well, with the exception of the strings. For the first few weeks, they come out of tune pretty quickly, but this is easily fixable, and is something that happens less frequently as the ukulele gets broken in. I had no experience with ukuleles before this, but using tutorials and different online tuners, I had it tuned in about 15 minutes, and it now only takes me 2 or 3 minutes to get it back in tune. I've had mine for over a month now, and I'm still in love with it. This is a great starter uke that I would absolutely recommend.

Perfect for a starter uke. Rich sounds but gets out of tune frequently at first. Make sure you have a tuner handy! For the price, it's good value.

dont even listen to 2,3,4 stars cuz they are lies... perfect ukulele...i never knew a thing about ukuleles so i tried this very cheap one hoping that it will be worth it... it is perfect... it might seem small but u wil get used to it just like i did

I ordered this product cuz it's been decades I havent played a ukelele. Delivery was prompt. I received it in 3days. The sound is even better that I expected. I would recommend this product.
And it's vry light.
