I bought several Kindles as gifts for my family for Christmas. As much as I wanted a Kindle for myself, I purposely waited until the information on the new Apple reader, iPad, was published. After reading iPad's capability and its size, I decided to order a Kindle for myself. The iPad may give Kindle DX a run but I like my Kindle's pocketbook size better than what Apple has to offer. I'd like to see the next Kindle to have the touchscreen technology in turning the pages instead of clicking a button, however. hint, hint to Mr Jeff Bezos... ;-)

I love my Kindle. It is everything I thought it would be and more. Love that I can read a sample of the book before I buy it. Love that I can download so many different books.
Love the fact I can change the font, keep notes and clippings and that I can archive my books. Love that my new books is downloaded within 60 seconds. I love how the books costs so much less.

I've followed this product for 3 years before buying one and its everything I had hoped for. Easy to use...easy to read and more enjoyable reading since I can bump-up the font size.

The Kindle is great and convenient. I just wish it had a back light built in it.
